  Hillcrest Elementary School Friday News June 4, 2021   Dear Hillcrest Families,   June has arrived and we’ll soon be experiencing our first heat wave of the summer!  You may already know that Hillcrest Elementary School does not have air conditioning and it can become very steamy in our classrooms on those hot days!  I cannot believe it is already June!  Next week we begin our ½ day dismissals.  The half days next week will beThursday and Friday all with a noon dismissal. Monday, June 14th is a half day of school with a noon dismissal and will be our last day of school!! Fifth grade step up, for grade five students and two family members will be on Friday, June 11th starting at 9:00 in the gymnasium.   The Piti Theater who have been working with second and third grade classrooms will be having a production on Wednesday, June 9.  Thank you Ms....

 A huge thank you to staff, students and families for a successful administration of MCAS!  We have completed each one day session.  This data will assist us in supporting our students in reading and math for next year. Monday, May 31st,  the school will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. There is not a set lunch menu for the remainder of the year.  I ask our amazing cafeteria staff each morning what the menu item is, and share it at morning announcements.  This is due to discrepancies with food delivery.   Heads up...
