Dear GMRSD Families, We are excited to announce that we have partnered with the Community Health Center of Franklin County(CHCFC) to offer a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for students ages 12 and older at the Turners Falls High School on Wednesday May 26th from 9am-1pm. Participants will be given their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at that time and will be invited back for the second dose on Thursday, June 17th. GMRSD students who are learning in-person at TFHS/GFMS, will be able to receive their vaccine during school hours, and Gill Elementary and Erving Elementary 6th grade students,...
Principal Newsletter for May 13, 2021 Tomorrow’s Spirit Day is Mismatch Day. You can wear stripes with polka dots, different color socks, etc. This is not a hat day, so please refrain from wearing one. Participation in Spirit Days are always voluntary and not required. The Office of Public School Monitoring from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education visits each district and charter school every three years to monitor compliance with federal and state special education and civil rights regulations.  Overall, Gill-Montague did very well on this tiered focus review.  As part of this process, the district was identified as needing to update language in our respective school handbooks in two areas relative to definitions of bullying and detailing the full procedural process for suspension of students.  Our updated...
