Dear Hillcrest Families,
Happy New Year to all of you! One of the wonderful things about being an educator is the opportunity to celebrate the new year twice -- we have the first day of school each August and then we have the first day of the calendar year each January! At Hillcrest, we are beginning 2020 with many opportunities for you to visit our school and our classrooms. Happy New Year! Welcome back! I hope you all enjoyed time with family and friends over the break!
We have experienced some issues with our boilers. Tomorrow, January 3rd, there is work being done on one of the boilers. It is doubtful that the heat will need to be off, however there is always a chance that the heat may be shut down for a few hours for necessary repairs to be conducted. There is no Afterschool tomorrow, December 20th. Afterschool will resume on Monday, January 6, 2020.
Tomorrow is the last day to bring in non-perishable items for our food drive.
Thank you in advance to all families who contributed to our food drive! We had a total of 209 items at December 6th tally. Tomorrow our student council reps will deliver this week’s final donations to the Montague Catholic Social Ministries.
School will be closed from December 23-January 1st.
We will reopen on Thursday, January 2, 2020.
