As you know, the emergency school closure has been extended until at least May 4. There will be many repercussions of this extension, including the need for the district to provide more robust teaching and learning for students. Dear GMRSD Community,
Monday evening's school committee interviews with the 3 superintendent candidates will be fully an online meeting among the committee and each candidate. For several reasons, including illnesses among attendees, we will not have an in person component to this meeting. The district is still hopeful that it can broadcast the interviews via Youtube or MCTV by Tuesday morning. However, the details of this are still being worked on. As you have heard by now, Governor Baker has ordered schools to be closed through April 6, 2020. He has also directed that public meetings and gatherings be limited to a maximum of 25 people.
