Dear Gill Community,
Kusmeskus, the bus company that contracts with the school, is experiencing some challenges in staffing the buses. Beginning Monday, the afternoon transportation will be consolidated down to into one bus, as the bus company is experiencing some challenges in staffing. This will result in a longer ride for some of the students getting dropped off – we anticipate possibly an extra 10-15 minutes. For a number of students, there will be no change at all. Please contact us if there are any issues, and we appreciate your understanding of this change.
We are accepting applications for kindergarten for the upcoming school year. If you have a child to enroll, please contact the school main office to begin the registration process. If you are aware of any children who will be five before September 1st, please let them know it’s time to register! School Choice applications will be available the first week of May.
Did you know that Gill Elementary School has a report card? Just as a student’s report card shows how they are performing, the Massachusetts Accountability System portrays how a school is performing, and provides information in a number of areas.
