NEXT Week’s School Calendar

  • April 6th:  Half day  12:00 dismissal

  • WEDNESDAY SPIRIT DAY WEAR:  Sports Day

New Staff Member:

Welcome Nurse, Billie Gammell to our health room.  Mrs.Gammell has had three years of school nursing.  Prior, she was a critical care nurse in a hospital setting.  Mrs Gammell has been working closely with our talented substitutes and nurse leader as she gets to know not only the systems but students of Sheffield. 

Clothing Drive:  March 28-April 8th

Sponsored by GFMS 8th  grade.  Clothes donated will go to the Cradles to Crayons Organization, who works to assist low income families, homeless and foster youth.

Accepting gently used clothing sizes infant to youth large.  No shoes please. 

There is a drop off box in the main foyer of the school.

SPRING EVENTS Reminder #2

As our spring gets underway, the school begins to set our sights on end of year enrichment events: field trips and enrichment activities for our school community.    It is also a time that staff may need an extra pair of hands to help and/or supervise small groups.  We would love to be able to include parents in these events.  

In order for our school’s parents to participate we need to be sure that, like our school staff, CORIs are up to date.  If you are someone with a CORI on file and you would like to be reassured it is up to date………..please call Mrs. Burke in the office.

If you are someone who would like to help this spring and need to fill out a CORI you could also reach out to Mrs. Burke, who will assist in the process.
