Principal Newsletter 12/5/19

  • Reminders: as stated in the family handbook- when we have a two hour delay there is no breakfast served.  School starts at 10:30 and doors are open at 10:15.

    • Cancellations are: delivered by phone, posted on the www.gmrsd.org website, on the television, and on the radio.

  • Third grade students and families will be selling chocolate bars for $1.00 next week to support their Old Sturbridge Village field trip.

  • Report cards will be going home Friday, December 6 in your child’s backpack.

  • We are collecting non-perishable food (cans, bags or boxes) to donate to Montague Catholic Social Ministries.  Student council will support the counting, packing and delivering each Friday in December.

  • Students need to have boots and snow pants in order to play in the snow.  If they are missing one of the two required articles they are to stay on the blacktop.  This is to ensure students are not entering and sitting in wet clothes for the afternoon.

  • This morning we had an unannounced lockdown drill.   This drill is overseen and observed by our local and state police to ensure procedures and expectations are followed for student and staff safety.

  • There is a School Council meeting on Monday, December 9 from 3:30-4:30 in my office.

  • December 12th is an All School Sing at 8:50 and Friday, December 13 is an All School Meeting at 2:15.
