Principal Newsletter November 21, 2019

  • Our student council has presented a powerpoint they helped create to each classroom explaining what our five school rules look like and sound like.  Please review our school rules with your child/ren frequently at home. They are as follows:

    • Be safe and in control

    • Active listening to all

    • Take care of all school materials and keep a clean school environment

    • Be kind, helpful, and have fun

    • Believe in yourself and believe in each other

  • There is an All School Meeting tomorrow at 2:15 in our auditorium.  This is open to all families!

  • The Sheffield gear store closes this Tuesday so please place your order now - don't miss out! Items for sale include sweatshirts, hoodies, raglan baseball jerseys, long-sleeve t-shirts and, NEW this year, baseball caps and pom-pom winter beanies!   http://stores.inksoft.com/sheffield

Visit the store’s website to place an order and for sizing details and pricing. All orders must be placed by Tuesday, November 26. Items will be sent home with students on Friday, December 13. If placing a gift order, please contact FOS to arrange for pickup.

  • Starting Tuesday, November 26, and every Tuesday, Family Engagement Coordinator, Stacey Langknecht will be here at Sheffield to; answer questions, be a resource, or check in with from 8:30-9:30 am.  

  • November 25 -December 20 we are having our annual food drive. Please consider donating non-perishable food items.  Please check expiration dates. We unfortunately have to throw away any items past expiration. Student council will be helping by collecting from classrooms, counting and bringing food to MCSM.           

  • November 25 and 26 are full days of school.  Wednesday, November 27 is a half day with a noon dismissal.

  • There is no school November 28 and 29.  School will reopen on Monday, December 2nd.
