Tomorrow, Friday, November 9 is dress as your favorite book character. This is not a ‘have to’ but ‘if you want to’.
Please no make up or hair dyes.
· There is a book fair happening again tomorrow, November 9 in our library from 8:30-9:00 and 12:00-3:00.
· Community Action Family Center located at 90 Federal Street in Greenfield is offering the following workshop:
Grandparents Raising Grandchildren . If you are a Grandparent(s) raising grandchildren or have children placed with you
through a kinship placement- come, get support and overcome the challenges together. A group to support the relative
caregivers and the unique situations they may be in. This group may be a structured peer support group, present
workshops and visiting facilitators or take a peer leadership route. This group meets every 2 nd and 4 th Monday of the
month from 10:00-11:30 am. Join us!
· School is closed Monday, November 12 in observance of Veteran’s Day. A heartfelt “Thank you!” to all service
men and women for your service!
· Friday, November 16 is an All School Meeting at 2:15 in the auditorium.
· We have a new standards based report card this year. We are no longer using the traditional letter grades of
A,B,C. Report cards will be mailed to families on November 30.
· As the weather gets colder, please make sure to put your child’s name in their coat or jacket. We are outside in
the morning when the temperature is 20 degrees or warmer so make sure your child is dressed appropriately for being
outside.
· Again as the weather gets colder, please remind your child not to share hats so we minimize the spread of lice.
