It was brought to my attention that there may be different versions of our school calendar out there.  Students have a half day of school with a noon dismissal on December 22nd and do not return to school until Monday, January 3rd. Please support the GFMS food/winter clothing drives, which will directly benefit our GFMS students! The food collected will be handed out prior to the holiday break. The winter clothing drive will be an ongoing effort all winter long in collaboration with Ms. Martinelli in the library who keeps a very nice collection of warm items for students at all times.   Hillcrest Elementary School Friday News December 10, 2021 Dear Hillcrest Families, Our students were very excited about the small dusting of snow that arrived this week!  Believe it or not, some of them managed to create snow people at recess! It takes quite a bit of cooperation, persistence and muscle power to do this within less than an inch of snow! Dear Community Members,   We are proud to announce the appointment of the new Assistant Principal for Turners Falls High School and Great Falls Middle School.  Kristen Schreiber, a teacher in the Mohawk Trail Regional School District, has accepted this position and will begin with the GMRSD during the Holiday Break.  We are very excited to have Ms. Schreiber as a new member of our team of educators and we hope that you will join us in welcoming her to our district.    Thank you, Christopher Barnes Secondary Principal
