This is an update on our search process for a new secondary level principal. After reviewing 16 applications and interviewing 5 candidates, the 12 member search committee selected two finalists. The finalists' schools will be visited this week by members of the committee and the candidates will spend a day each visiting with us next Wednesday and Thursday. If your child is in 3rd or 4th grade, ask them how their field trip to the Pioneer Valley Symphony went today? Ask what was being projected in the background while the music of Peter and the Wolf was being played? Next week starts our state testing, also called MCAS. Students in grades four and five will participate in two days of reading assessments. Our state tests provide valuable information on skills and standards our students have mastered.
