Press Release – Announcement of Next Gill Elementary School Principal

I am pleased to announce the appointment of our next Gill Elementary School Principal -- Ms. Lisa Desjarlais. Ms. Desjarlais was enthusiastically selected as a finalist for the position by the initial search committee and then chosen as our candidate after finalist interviews. A contract agreement with Ms. Desjarlais has been reached and she will begin work on July 1.

● All School Sing Celebration is what we would normally be planning this time of year to celebrate everyone moving on at our June sing. This tradition has evolved to include the entire Sheffield school. ● i-Ready is a computerized tool we purchased as a district because it is tailored to your child’s learning for both reading and math. It is recommended that your child engage with this tool for 30 minutes a day for each subject. Minutes will not show up unless your child is on; a Mac, Windows, Chromebook, or an ipad. If your child is accessing i-Ready from your phone, the minutes will not show up.
