Special Education Services
We provide a variety of special education services to our students from preschool through high school. Services range from consultation and direct services in the classroom to pullout services and self-contained classrooms with specialized instruction. The Special Education office works with principals, teachers, parents, and students to coordinate the educational and other needs of students in the Gill-Montague Regional School District. Our specialized staff conducts evaluations and develops Individualized Education Plans (IEP) in compliance with state and federal laws. We deliver services that support the needs of each student in the least restrictive environment.

Title I Services
Title I is a federal entitlement program which grants funds to school districts to provide supplemental academic support to students who need extra help to bring their knowledge and skills up to grade level.
Our program focuses on early intervention starting in kindergarten. We want all of our students to have access to the tools needed to improve their academic performance and prepare them for success in the higher grades, regardless of income or other factors.
English Language Learners
The English Language Learner Program is committed to providing high quality academic instruction and support to English language learners in grades K-12. The district's English Language Education teachers align their teaching to national and state English Language Proficiency standards that develop both social and academic language and skills. The district's English Language Learner program nurtures understanding of diverse languages and cultures and seeks to ensure that all ELL students and their families are integral and valued members of the GMRSD community.
