Hi there! Welcome to Ms. Jones’ Guidance Counseling webpage. I am here to empower all students, families, and educators at Great Falls Middle School (GFMS). I can be a resource who helps with: mental health wellness, organization and communication skills, career plans, problem-solving, decision-making, and more!
I’ve invited all middle school students to a GFMS Guidance Counseling Google Classroom. Please reach out to one of your teachers or me through email if you are having trouble finding this space.

Given the move to online learning, I am using a combination of phone calls and Google Classroom / Google Meet technology to check-in remotely.
You can fill out a quick Google Form HERE<https://forms.gle/B38Dfqp8AUzUzA346> to request a meeting (this is also posted on the GFMS Guidance Counseling Google Classroom that you have access to). I will then reach out through an assignment for you on the Great Falls Middle School Google Classroom to privately schedule time to meet.
Please note there are limitations to confidentiality when we meet online or over the phone. I will use headphones with a microphone during these check-in’s and recommend you do as well if you are able to. Identifying a separate space or private room is also important.

Hello! My name is Ms. Lindsay Jones and I am the Guidance Counselor at Great Falls Middle School. I am licensed to work with K-12 students after graduating from UMass Amherst in May 2020 with Masters in Education (M.Ed.) and Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degrees.
I am here to help empower all students beginning on their first day at our school, all the way to promotion to high school. Proactively checking-in and intervening as needed with each student to ensure they have the support needed to make their time at Great Falls Middle School a success.
I’ve invited all middle school students to a GFMS Guidance Counseling Google Classroom, which allows students to access this Google Form<v> and privately let me know that they would like to meet by either Google Meet or a phone call. I then respond through an individual assignment created for each student to establish time for us to meet.
Given the move to online learning, I am using a combination of Google Classroom / Google Meet technology and phone calls to check-in with students virtually. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please get in touch with me or the School Administration Team so we can make accommodations.
