Dear Gill Community,

As many of you may be aware, the Gill-Montague School Committee voted last Tuesday evening on the Superintendent's recommendation that students return towards the end of October, provided the necessary repairs/updates are completed for the Gill Elementary HVAC system. 

We have a lot of work to do between now and that time, so there will be information needed from families in terms of preferences for Hybrid days, transportation, updated emergency and health forms, and most importantly for the district to provide clear communication on the health protocols put into place here at the school. If you are a Gill resident, please complete this survey https://forms.gle/2VSWRpacpLnifcRz5  as soon as possible. Unfortunately, students who live in Turners Falls and are designated choice will not be offered transportation this school year. This is a change in the district practice, so I want families to be aware of this for planning purposes. We are trying to plan for the return of students tentatively scheduled for the end of the month. 

Teachers have organized school supplies pick up by emailing families directly.. Please stop by at your earliest convenience to collect these materials as they are outside in the tent, and we’d prefer they not remain there too long.

Our first all-school meeting to take place on Wednesday, October 7th, at 11:00 a.m. Thank you to those of you that sent in pictures. I really could use a few more!  Please send them directly to me if you are able to before the end of day Tuesday.
