School Lunches

School lunch and breakfast are available to all grades on a daily basis.  Lunch & breakfast menus are sent home prior to the beginning of each month.  Price for lunch is $1.50.  Breakfast is $0.50. Parents may pay by the day or week.  Families may be eligible for reduced prices for lunch and breakfast.  Forms are sent to all families when school begins so that parents can determine if they are eligible.  Should income change during the school year, parents may apply at their time of need.

Snack Milk

Snack milk is available daily for $0.40 per day.  On Thursdays, children can purchase chocolate milk if they wish for snack.  Time is allotted in each day for a snack break. Children are encouraged to bring a healthy nutritious snack vs. overly sweet foods.

Early Dismissals

On occasion, parents will request that their child be dismissed from school.  Please send in a note or place a phone call, 367-9201 or 863-3272, so we will be prepared and have your child ready for your arrival.

Early Dismissals Due To Stormy Weather

We can not always predict what Mother Nature may do during the winter months.  If it becomes necessary to close school before 3:15 PM, we make every attempt to notify parents by telephone.  To help us know who to call, we ask that each parent fill out a special early dismissal form.  If you do not have a telelphone, please provide us with the name of a neighbor, family member, or friend.

Early dismissals are aired on radio stations WRSI 95.3 FM and WHAI 98.3 AM.

School Cancellations Due To Stormy Weather

School cancellations are aired on radio and TV stations quite early in the morning. Listen to:

WRSI 95.3 FM or WHAI 98.3 AM

TV channel 22 or TV channel 40

School Schedule and Bussing Information

The School day begins at 8:30 and ends at 3:15 pm.  Parents who are bringing their child to school should arrive as close to 8:30 as possible.  On mornings which are rainy, quite windy, or very cold children are brought into the auditorium and should not wait for the morning bell.

Should there be a need to have your child ride another bus to a place other than your home residence, parents must contact the office at 367-9201 to discuss arrangements.  These requests should be based on need for safety and supervision and not for your children to visit their classmate(s) after school.

Important Information on Children's Pick-up!

If you or someone else you have designated will be coming to pick up your child during or after school, please send us a note or call.  We will follow regular dismissal plans for your child unless we hear from you directly.  We will not release your child to another adult without your permission.
