Dana and Isaac Slaymaker of Montague and over 90 other people had a chance to hold an alligator at the Rainforest Reptile Show at the Great Falls Discovery Center on Saturday, May 15, 2004. Rose Tyner of Greenfield was next in line. The show was sponsored by the Gill-Montague Community Partnership for Children.

The CPC offers:

• Tuition scholarships for preschools and family child care providers
• Fun and educational activities for families at local libraries
• Promotion of high quality early care and education programs by supporting accreditation activities and staff development
• Workshops for parents, teachers, and family child care providers
• Curriculum kits for family child care providers, and support to the Gill-Montague Child Care Provider Network
